Ceremony & Reception

Please plan to arrive at The Murphy no later than 6PM for the ceremony, which will be immediately followed by cocktails, dinner, and dancing. And more cocktails.

Dress Code

Black tie is preferred.

Children

We ask that you arrange for childcare on Saturday night. Children are more than welcome to join us for the events on Sunday. If you need help finding childcare, or if your child is too young for childcare, let us know and we'll figure something out.

Transportation

The Murphy is located in the River North/Gold Coast neighborhood at 50 East Erie Street, one and a half blocks west of the stretch of Michigan Avenue known as the "Magnificent Mile."

For those of you coming from out of town, there are many hotels within walking distance of The Murphy - please see our recommended list here.

For those of you who are staying farther afield, the Chicago and Grand stops on the CTA Red Line are the closest subway stops. Each is roughly 4 blocks away. There are also several bus lines that stop nearby.

For those of you who are driving, note that there is no valet parking at The Murphy and very limited street parking. There are a number of parking garages within a few blocks of The Murphy - the closest is at 10 East Ontario Street. We suggest consulting SpotHero for a map of parking options and rates.
